Merge Function Behavior

Hello experts I have a question about the merge function.

After merging ideas into a target idea, it appears the duplicated ideas are still showing up on the All Ideas view.  Is this by design?  How do I create a view showing only the Merged ideas and hiding ideas that have been merged into another idea?

If this function already exist I must have missed it.

Thanks!

Erik

@Erik Lau merging ideas (I1, I2) to idea (I3) is meant to:

  • Link I1 and I2 to I3
  • Archive I1 and I2

Are you still seeing them in the All ideas view? I've just tried and it works, but wonder if there's something not working in your Jira

Hi @Tanguy Crusson ,

Could you provide some use case when this feature should be useful?

Is it any possibility to change the current behaviour of merging, for example changing statuses for I1 and I2 rather than archiving them?
