Jira Product Discovery: Importing CSV data, moving ideas between projects

My team has several questions regarding Jira Product Discovery:

1. How to import status and other fields?

- How to import status? - during the import we could not assign statuses to our ideas.

- How to import "created date" and "reporter" (when a person is not in our jira instance) fields?

2. Furthermore, we are curious if there will be a possibility to move ideas between projects in JPD, considering that currently, this feature is only available in Jira Software.

3. How to create a delivery ticket through the automation?

Hi, on #2: you should be able to move ideas between Jira Product Discovery projects already, like for Jira Software. But you need to go to Filters > view all issues, and do it from there (... > Bulk change). We are going to improve it to make it easier.

On #3 you can find examples on automation for delivery in the FAQ (search for "automation" there)

thank you for the answer, and what about the first question will there be an option to import statuses via csv? we have plans to move a large number of ideas that have different statuses.

For number 1 (status import), one workaround you can use is to create a custom field called something like import_status and then import the status into that field and then once the ideas are imported you can filter by the import_status field and bulk edit the system status field within the list view.

For created date, I was able to import and set created date (but you have to do the External System Import method in Jira Admin settings - have to be a Jira Admin to do this) instead of the Import from the create screen within JPD.

Another workaround/option is to import into a "temporary" jira software project and then "move" the issues from there into JPD much like Tanquy mentioned in his original response.
