In our project we have epics in Jira Software that do not yet have a start date and due date set - meaning they are not defined.

When we create a project in Atlas, a start date is completed by default, it does not allow us to leave this field empty. In this example: Start date was the day when we created the project(November 8, 2023).

When we want to connect a epic without start date and due date with an Atlas project, By default, the start date of the project in Atlas is synchronized as the start date and target date in the epic.

What we require is that when the start date is set in the epic, these fields are also synchronized in Atlas, not before.

Is it possible to configure Atlas so that when we synchronize Atlas with Jira Software it allows us to synchronize with the empty fields (start date and due date) of the epic as option?

Hi @barellano

I'd suggest that you ask this question or on the Jira Software group:  https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Software/ct-p/jira

or on the Atlas group : https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Atlas/ct-p/atlas

This group is about Jira Product Discovery, which is a different product

Cheers,

Hermance
