Hi there,
For the view Filter, can we filter by Current User instead of a certain user name?
In general Jira projects such as Jira Software, and Jira Work Management, we can just select the "Current User" option in the filter, but JPD has to select a specific user. This is inconvenient.
The use case is that we want to create a view named "My Ideas" and let all Contributors check the idea status and details of their own. So they will not be drowned by plenty of ideas created by others.
Currently, the only thing I can do is to create a list view and Group By reporters. This can be a temporary solution but is not ideal.
Later, can JPD support advanced filters by JQL? That will be awesome.
Thank you.
Hi, this will be possible when we add JQL support for filtering. It's already happening (as part of the work to ship the "stakeholder" features) but might take some time before it gets to view filters.
Hi, Tanguy, thank you for sharing this. Do we have a rough timeline here? I am onboarding my team to JDP, just want JPD to be more powerful to let them love it.

Hi Bill, we don't share timelines for features. But we'll announce it in the community when it's there.

Hi @Tanguy Crusson -- just want to add my need for this feature, and to ask a question:
Can contributors who do not have a jira software license use the JQL-based search feature?
Meaning, can I save a JQL query that searches for all tickets where type = product_discovery AND reporter = currentuser() and share that link broadly?

Hi @Tanguy Crusson does this mean that I'll be able to filter Views using fields that are not currently supported in View (e.g. short text) but that are supported in JQL (e.g. short text)?
Use case: I have a custom short text field (account name) that is populated via a Salesforce integration. However, my PMs cannot filter their Views using this field. It can be helpful for PMs to see a list of features requested by specific accounts.
