Filter by Status does not allow selection of items in check-box

I am trying to apply a filter on the ideas in list View but if I select the Status field I am not able to tick any of the available items in the check-box, am I missing something?

We may need additional clarification on the issue you are running into.

When filtering on the Status of ideas, you should be able to select which appear in the view like so:

There's also the option to Group by Status which may be more helpful. No checkbox needs to be selected and instead, all ideas will appear in the view categorized by the field selected through a drop-down. The fields can also be rearranged in the view:

@Nick Hallerthank you for your help! I confirm that now everything works fine and I am able to use the checkbox using the Filter option, not sure why it did not work in the first place.
