Difference in Product and Project roles

Hi everyone!
One of the Stakeholders created Jira Product Discovery Board and added me as a Creator. But I have only Contributor's rights.

It seems that there're project and product roles and somewhere I'm a contributor and somewhere — Creator. I've checked this article, but it's still unclear why having a Project role as a Creator, I can be only a Contributor.

Also, we noticed that all account admins (4 people) were automatically assigned as Creators and because of this I can't be assigned to this role.

Could you explain the difference in Product and Project roles in this context?

Is there any chance to handle it?

Thanks!

Hi @Kate Smoliakova , that's because you need to be given product access to Jira Product Discovery (aka a license). More details on how to do this here: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Product-Discovery-articles/Adding-contributors-and-creators-to-a-Jira-Product-Discovery/ba-p/2324017
