Hi Team
I have been using JPD for close to 9 months and have some questions around date formats.
My Instance has, I think, 2 types of date field
1. Single Date only
2. Capable of holding multiple dates
It looks like we can only create fields that support date ranges, as well as single dates, going forward
Is this correct?
I am trying to push some data into JPD that is single date and I am hitting limitations
Thanks
J
Hi @Jerry O_Sullivan this is correct, you can only create one type of field (which is a date range, for which you can select a single date). What are you trying to do?
Sure @Tanguy Crusson
As part of a merger we have been asked to sync some of our product discovery work with productboard. We can get the sync working for most field types except date fields
Productboard exposes it's timeline fields as Single date fields, which is incompatible with the JPD field type
This is a screengrab of what the integration looks like on the productboard side. As you can see the 'old' date field types are available but the new date fields are listed as incompatible

Hi @Jerry O_Sullivan , it's not something we'll be able to help from on our end - do you have a contact at Productboard? it sounds like they need to build support for this new date field format.

Sure we are talking to Productboard as well just wanted to clarify my JPD understanding . I will update here with any updates

OK cool - if they need help feel free to connect us, we can explain how that field works
