Hi,
I got an invite to a new Product Discovery Project. I have administrator permissions.
However I can't see "Create an idea" button.
There is only "Sort" and "Filter" options.
Could you please assist.
Hi! can you see the button on the top bar?
Have you checked on Project Settings > Access? maybe there was something changed for Admins...

my guess would be lack of permissions tbh...seems like you can only browse the project

yeah that's that. as far as I remember, Contributors cannot create ideas, they're there to kind of view them and "contribute" in that sense. if you want to create ideas in JPD, you need to be a Creator

I have the same problem.
The documentation at https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/product-discovery/guides/getting-started/user-roles-permissions and also at https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/product-discovery/pricing#role-definitions
says that contributors should be able to create ideas.
I found the solution in another post:
which tells you how to enable this permission in the project features
EDITED: added solution
