When creating a new idea, I don't manage to add any pictures. Is there something I need to setup to allow for this?
In Jira Software and even this form I am writing in now, it is possible to add pictures - either by paste, drag in or choose file. It is in fact encouraged to include relevant screenshots - because it is helpful for people to fully understand the problem. And the same is for ideas! We want users to add pictures into the idea they submit, to either illustrate the idea or pointing at the problems. It feels a big drawback that this feature is not possible in JPD
Hi @Andy Keohane and @Mari-Ann Eriksen ,
It's currently not possible to add attachments to a JPD idea at creation. The workaround is adding them after which we know is not ideal and requires an additional step - but both creators and contributors can do this.
There is already an open ticket for this entered with engineering, and for reference it is: JPD-32. We suggestion you continue following along with our Community for updates since JPD bugs and features requests are not publicly available to watch, follow and vote for.
Thanks for your reply! I hope this is something that will be improved soon :)
We want to make it very easy for people in the organization to submit ideas, but I fear that not being able to put in all information needed in a single step might take extra time explaining everyone how to submit ideas, as well as discourage some users to submit anything.

I have the same issue. If you create the Idea ticket without images, you should then be able to edit it and add the images - that's what works for me anyway
