I have a list of ideas in JPD that I want to move to other Jira projects, however there does not seem to be any bulk move option available, I can only move individual ideas, one by one. Am I missing something?
Hi @p_geremia ,
It's possible to bulk move ideas from project to project under the Filters tab.
Having said that, we typically would suggest using the import functionality to move multiple ideas at once. This has a bit more flexibility and functionality compared to bulk moving ideas.
You can easily map fields from Project A to Project B during the import to retain data and field values. The bulk moving is more rigid, and realistically only allows you to set field values for all the ideas being moved instead of retaining them as well as the import.
Please note if you decide to use the import option, it's best practice that your "Project B" has the fields you'd like to map to already available before the import. Importing cannot create new fields during the process.
I usually find CSV to be the best way to move large amounts of data. It gives me full control and I can break everything down into separate files. Might take a bit more time but less prone to errors.

When creating a CSV export from JPD project 1 to import into JPD project 2, is there a way to include insights, comments and linked records so that they can be moved to the new JPD project. What about followers of the idea in JPD project 1? Will they be lost when the idea is moved to JPD project 2?
I have also found that if date fields are in a quarter view in JPD project 1, they won't import into JPD project 2.
