Automation rule for new Insight input?

Hi, I need to notify a group of people when new insight is added to an idea. Tried to do it by automation but there is no trigger for this field. Any idea how to do it?

Hi Onur, 

As @Jan-Hendrik Spieth  mentionned it is indeed one of the technical limitation for the moment. Insights cannot be used in automation (along with votes or formula fields for example) and they aren't part of the notification scheme - meaning watcher won't receive a notification when an insight is added. 

We are aware of this issue, and we are planning to address it in the future.

Do you have any news about these limitations? In my opinion, insights are the core feature of JPD, and without automations and notifications to support them, this compromises the overall value of the tool. Thanks!

I +1 @Kevin Teodoro 's comment! Without this, it's really hard to keep visibility of all the insights and PMs would have to regularly check all ideas just to find out what was added where.

Any updates on this? More integration of Automations to be able to pull in Jira Issue field data into Insights would make this significantly more valuable.

We are facing technical limitations regarding insights, and we haven't been able to tackle this feature yet. It is still in our radar, but it will not be adressed before the end of the year.

We really want this feature! Tried setting up a rule that looked for changes in the "Insights" field, but that doesn't seem to work even thought the value changes any time an insight is added. Super disappointing that this isn't possible yet.

+1, this is super critical for effective use of insights. 
Otherwise anything added is not being processed by PM's.

I only want to include features with Insights on our roadmap and I currently cannot count the number of insights in an automation rule.
