Summer is ending, and we hope y'all enjoyed a little break ☀️ ! While the team also took some time off for a breather, our engineers have been working hard to continue enhancing your experience in Jira Product Discovery.
Here is the list of some improvements that shipped these past two months, don't hesitate to ask for details in the comments!
Board views improvements
- Empty columns were still showing if the column was based on a number/rating field.
- Fixed bug on unmovable ideas when columns where "Status" with a group by applied
- Fixed alignments in columns and fields
- Fixed inconsistent padding between cards
- Fixed intermittent overlap between cards when adding/removing fields
- Better performance on boards with a high number of ideas (coming very soon)
- Added consistency on drag and drop experience
List views improvements
- New export type: Export in .csv directly from a list view
- When editing the description of an idea and switching to another idea, the description was still in edit mode
- Resizing columns created a layout mismatch
- Fixed bug in list view regarding count/sum/median aggregation unresponsive
- Idea summary couldn't be edited in list view when it belongs to multiple groups
Chrome extension
- Insights were not added to the idea when created via Chrome extension
- Fixed Chrome extension setting buttons unresponsive
- Improved search functionality
Other functionality
- Added prompt on view autosave off when unsaved changes.
- Added tables and other advanced editor functionalities in comments and insights descriptions
Other bugs
- Fixed flaky prompt about unsaved changes in comments & insights
- Fixed formatting rule on "overdue date" reporting on the first date of the interval
- Fixed bug on applying idea templates in forms
- Fixed bug when creating a delivery ticket with mandatory fields
- Fixed bug when groups couldn't be removed from permission when containing special characters
- Dates couldn't be cleared from date fields
