Where we were four years ago
In life, one thing’s certain: change.
The Jira Cloud mobile apps have certainly changed since their humble beginnings in 2016...
Early iterations of the app were complex...
We started with some paper and markers…
Designs were designed, dreams were dreamed…
The first mockups were born and tested internally with Atlassians…
Months later, the humble Jira Cloud mobile app soft launched. We went live in the iOS App Store in March 2016. Later in September 2016 we followed up with Android.
v1 came with an issue list and a notification feed.
Where we are today
Four years later, we have a lot of happy customers:
- Millions of installs across all devices

2x more issues are resolved than average by Jira users that use mobile apps

25% faster performance is experienced by Jira users that use mobile apps
- 4+ star app ratings on average from happy Jira users
