How to display "sub-project" drop down value in read only mode based on user role

Hi All,

Could you please let us know, is it possible to make the sub-project drop down selection values as read only based on user roles?

I am going to guess that "sub project" is the name of a custom field, of a type "select list".

You can't control field access by user.  Jira does not have "field level security" - you can either edit an issue or you can not.  (Exceptions are system fields, where there are permissions for changing reporter, assignee, due date and sprint data)

That can be done by using scriptrunner's behaviours.

I've made one field read-only based on user role
