New jira server experience

I am not a fan of the "new" jira experience. I find it clunky - everything has an absurd amount of padding around it, and it feels like there are 2-3 extra clicks to get to where I need to be. I think the most frustrating aspect is the lack of a persistent menu for me to navigate throughout the software. Am I alone in my opinion? Do I need to give it more of a chance? Curious how the rest of the community feels about it.

I second that. A bit frustrating when you need to reach your dashboards, other projects or your project configurations

Loathe it.  As a UX/UI specialist, they didn't consult with one on these redesigns at all.  They hinder workflow, make everything less accessible, their pop ups cover the next task so you can't click to continue you now have to wait 5 seconds for the "convenient" popup to go away before you can create another sub task.  Good luck finding anything you used to find easily.  It's not an advancement by any standard.  It's a huge step back for them.
