How to indicate which work is needed to reach mileston/process step?

In Jira Align Epics it is possible to:

- put fixed date milestones.
- put dates on each process step of the epic.

Is there a way to indicate which work (child or grand-child items) needs to be done to finalize the phase or milestone?

Follow-up question: Is it possible that the target completion date automatically gets updated based on the status of the work that is needed for the milestone/phase?

@bas.burgers you can put fixed date milestones and dates on process steps for epics in the Time/Skills tab. If you don't see the Time/Skills tab you may need to work with your Jira Align Admin to have that enabled in the Details Panel Settings portion of the Administration panel. 

The next question- Is there a way to indicate which work (child or grand-child items) needs to be done to finalize the phase or milestone? I do not believe there is a way to do this.
