Is there a way to enable autosave in Jira Align in the administrative setting? My team has experienced a few instances where work was lost either due to the save button not manually being pressed or some error in the tooling that would cause them to lose progress during their session while updating an Epic, Feature etc...
Update - this original question led to a product suggestion linked below if interested
@Razy Kased Inside a few work items there are individual fields that auto-save when exiting the field itself, however there is not an instance level setting that one can enable that makes every action a save action.
If users are simply not selecting the Save or Save & Close button after making updates, the organization may want to express to your users that after making changes you must either Save or Save & Close.
If users are being timed out (meaning they took some actions on a work item, have not yet saved) and their attention is pulled away from that work for a long period of time you can consider changing the Security Timeout to a longer timeframe.
I did also do a scan of all the Jira Align Suggestions and I don't see any suggestion that exists requesting this functionality. I would suggest submitting such a request if this is important to you and/or your business.
Please let us know how we can assist further.
thanks @Steve Sauser for the details. We've implemented your suggestion on timing out and I was able to get assistance from an Atlassian rep after submitting a support request, A product suggestion was filed. thanks again

Unfortunately, there is no auto-save that I'm aware of for Jira Align. I've been supporting Jira Align for years, so if one exists, and you find it, please let me know.
