Check out the Jira Connector section as it lists how data can get configured, replicating from Jira to Jira Align.

Thank you very much for the prompt response, I'll check the link you sent me... However, I wasn't looking for a way to integrate Jira Align, but to be able to adapt Jira with project portfolio management
