We’re announcing a new secure and scalable option to export your Jira Align cloud data from Enterprise Insights and import it into your own database or data lake.
Enterprise Insights is a data mart for Jira Align that enables customers to extract data and use it within other third-party business intelligence platforms or with Atlassian Analytics. For customers with Cloud Enterprise Plans, Atlassian Analytics can merge data from Jira Align and other data sources to create powerful data visualizations that can be shared with stakeholders. With Enterprise Insights, you can get the most value from your Jira Align and Atlassian platform data to expedite decision-making and steer the team forward. Learn more about Enterprise Insights, or explore the FAQ.
For customers who were previously unable to use the standard connection methods due to security requirements or policies, now you have more options to access your data in Enterprise Insights. With Data File Retrieval, simplify access and enhance security by exporting your Jira Align data from Enterprise Insights in a parquet file format to an S3 bucket in Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Data File Retrieval is an alternative option as it doesn’t require a direct connection with the Enterprise Insights database and relies on AWS security features for accessing the S3 bucket. With Data File Retrieval, your data is exported to Apache Parquet formatted files. The files are stored within a dedicated AWS S3 bucket that only you have read access to.
Slice and dice your data the way you want, now with greater autonomy and security.
Ready to get started? If you’re new to Enterprise Insights, contact your Atlassian Sales team or partner reseller to review your options for purchasing an Enterprise Insights license, and indicate your interest in the data file retrieval offering.
If you already have Enterprise Insights, head over to the Jira Align knowledge base to understand requirements, and submit a ticket to our support team. We’ll be in touch shortly!
