Fraudulent BTC emails

Amanda Keeney February 11, 2025

Hello..I am so aggravated from having to once again explain all this..It's been 2yrs..Enough is enough..It's borderline harassment at this point but here we go again.....Ugh!

I was added to one of you projects without my consent from some fraudulent BTC website that used this platform as their base of operations so to speak..It's been 2 years and I am still receiving numerous emails daily in both my regular email and my spam..20+ daily..It's very frustrating and it's to the point where I am being harassed by these ppl..I just want it to stop!

You guys are very well aware of this issue not only have it reported it to you but several others have too..So if these scammers have a right to use your platform to steal lie and cheat then why don't we have a right to make them stop?

I want it to stop..I have all the documentation I need to prove you guys have done absolutely nothing to protect me from your website..I will be hiring an attorney!

@Amanda Keeney you're posting to a forum where none of us have control over what you receive as we're all simply end-users like you. If you'd like to stop receiving emails, there's a link at the bottom of every email you receive to 'stop all email updates'. If you're still getting them, block the sender.

Hi @Amanda Keeney

Sorry to hear about this problem.  I can see that there was an Atlassian Cloud site that appears to have sent you spam recently.   I can confirm that the user responsible has been suspended, and we are in the process of suspending the site in question as well for a violation of our terms of service.

Should you receive an email from an atlassian.net site that you are not expecting, please forward that message to our abuse@atlassian.com address.

Someone from our anti-abuse team will review those reports and in turn they can quickly take down such sites that violate our terms of service.

Andy
