"git svn clone .." nothing happen

samuel.zhang January 21, 2020

I'm trying to migrate Tortrise SVN to BitBucket, I type this command:

$ git svn clone   "https://172.17.70.72:8443/svn/XXXX/Software/Bootloader/BinaryTool" “C:\Projects\Development\BitBucket_MigrateFrom_SVN\Binary_tool.git" --prefix=svn/ --no-metadata --authors-file="author-transform.txt"

This command should convert the SNV to Binary_tool.git, but nothing happen and nothing generated in the “C:\Projects\Development\BitBucket_MigrateFrom_SVN" directory.  I check SVN, I can view the content "https://172.17.70.72:8443/svn/XXXX/Software/Bootloader/BinaryTool" in the SVN server.

No error message, no file generated, is there any way to diagnose?

Sam
