Hi.
I'd like to write Python hooks that use libraries pylint and flake8 in order to verify that pushed code is okay.
These hooks may be either Bitbucket's pre-receive hook OR Git's update hoot.
Questions:
1) May an administrator manually add a Git update hook?
2) How exactly can an administrator install Python libraries or regular Linux libraries to be used for above purpose?
Thanks in advance!
Hi Ofer, here are some links that may be useful with your research on this subject
Hope they help :)

Hi Tyler.
I'm already familiar with these links. The one describing the standard Git hooks, esp. server hooks, is basically problematic with Bitbucket, as the other link says. That's since Bitbucket offers the Java plugin framework as a replacement to Git server hooks.
So my question still waits for answers.
Thanks anyway.
