unable to login to Fisheye / Crucible

Areus GmbH July 9, 2020

Hi all,

all of the sudden all users are unable to login to fisheye / crucible, no matter if internal or external directory.

I created a local test user namend "fecru_test" and it says "FISHEYE USER" and "CRUCIBLE USER", however when I try to login, I get the error "Password incorrect or unknown user".

The debug logs don't tell a lot:

2020-07-10 01:48:32,357 DEBUG [qtp1696263571-150 ] fisheye ProfilingServletFilter-logRequest - start request POST /login?password=XXXX&atl_token=aa885226b84b6141b6420ad70097537b4c20db1b&rememberme=on&origUrl=&username=fecru_test sessionid=node0rr5dbhst1q581lqu9sgr4hnq00

Does anybody have some tricks how to track this down?

Thanks, Osama

Found out that after reverting back from 4.8.3 to 4.8.0 things are working.

Maybe I've missed something at the last update?

Will dig deeper...
