Hi,
I wanted to enable smart commits. We have a hosted JIRA already with our code hosted on BitBucket.
How do I enable this? When I go to FishEye it looks like I have to download something but I wanted it hosted. Does Atlassian host it or we have to go to an external provider?
Hi Gustavo,
Thanks for replying. I was mainly just trying to have a way of changing the status of an issue by a code commit in BitBucket.
The smart commits is enabled already and linked to my BitBucket. We have a status called "Dev Done" and a status called "Open". How would we change the status of an issue from Open to Dev Done as per https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRACLOUD/Processing+JIRA+issues+with+commit+messages
Thanks
Hi,
I'm trying to understand where FishEye fits in your setup - could you please explain if you were intended to index your Bitbucket repository with FishEye, and then link FishEye to JIRA?
I'm wondering if you just ended up in a FishEye document about smart commits, which is why you are asking for it. If you already have Bitbucket directly linked to JIRA you can just enable smart commits for your Bitbucket repositories. Please refer to https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/BITBUCKET/Processing+JIRA+issues+with+commit+messages for further information and let me know if this is what you are looking for.
Regards,
Gustavo Refosco
