We're using Fisheye with Crucible 3.4.4 and it shares user accounts with Jira, since both of them are authenticating against the same LDAP backend. Crucible however lets anyone with an account configure user mappings between the Fisheye/JIRA account and the SVN accounts. That's, a pretty glaring permissions issue. Is there a way to prevent users from doing this? Cause even outright disabling access to projects does not stop a user from doing this.
Hi Ziliang,
you can disallow users from configuring user mappings themselves by turning off the 'User managed mappngs' option in the admin panel. See https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CRUCIBLE/Configuring+User+Managed+Mappings for details.
Thanks for pointing the option out.
