Unable to login after connection to LDAP and users added to fisheye and crucible groups

Jeffrey Kayzerman August 6, 2020

Users pulled from active directory are unable to log into fisheye/crucible.  The user list does show up and I can see their details.  Furthermore I was able to give a few of them access to the fisheye-users and crucible-users groups and make them admins but they are still unable to login.  I do get a failure on retrieving users during the directory connection test.  Not sure what else to try, any help greatly appreciated.

Some other details that may be important.

1. Our AD server uses a load balancer

2.  We are still using an evaluation license

The answer ended up being that the username and password fields in the connection setup screen are not optional for us and needed to be populated.  It also had to point to one of the specific nodes, pointing to the other wouldn't work for some reason.
