Jira Crucible and Confluence on Windows

John Griswold January 25, 2018

We have installed these three servers on one Windows machine, and one of our cohort ran across this article:

https://confluence.atlassian.com/jira064/deploying-multiple-atlassian-applications-in-a-single-tomcat-container-720411824.html

warning to not try running them all in one Tomcat container.

We used the Windows installers to install all three. Do we have issues that need to be resolved, or do the installers figure out to make individual containers?

That only applies if you are installing using the WAR files. The Windows installer comes with it's own Tomcat installation and starting/stopping one of the applications will not affect the other two.

Thank you very much. I figured as much, but not being much of a Java guy I have to ask what appear to be simple questions.

Very much appreciate your help.
