Installing Fisheye having problems running as a service

Sam May 10, 2012

following the documentation here: http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/FISHEYE/Run+FishEye+as+a+Windows+service

I'm running Windows 2008 R2 x64, and I've installed the latest Fisheye and jre 7 (64bit). When I try to start the service, I receive the following:

Windows could not start the Fisheye service on Local Computer. Error 1067: The process terminated unexpectedly.

The same shows up in the windows event (application) log. There is no wrapper.log file.

Hi Tim,

I've seen this before and moving to JDK solved the problem. So maybe you could try once you don't really need to uninstall current java.

Cheers,

Leonardo.
