I had fieye integrated with jira and this worked before. Recently source tab in jira issues can not get any commits info from fisheye side. Checking the application link setting from fisheye admin side, I find the incoming authentication does not work while outgoing authentication works normally.

Error displays on incoming authentication configration page:

Your request was unable to be processed

java.lang.NullPointerException-

Hi Renjith,

We didn't upgrade JIRA or FishEye before the problem happened.

Certs was not expired.

Yes. we use the same user base in JIRA and FishEye.

Remote API calles was enabled.

Can you post the complete exception stack from the logs in Fisheye?

Hi Lynn,

To help understanding this problem further:

  • Are you able to determine what has changed recently? Maybe JIRA or FishEye was upgraded?
  • If your instances run over HTTPS, maybe the certs could have expired?
  • Do you use the same user base in both applications, or each one has its own user base? Depending on the user base, you must have a different authentication method. Read more.
