Fisheye crash after restart (The Web context could not be started)

Christophe Voisin August 10, 2014

Hi everyone,

today my Fisheye instance crashed (for the first time), i tried to restart it, but a lot of Java Exceptions appeared in the logs, and Fisheye refuses to start now.

Here is the fisheye.out file: http://pastebin.com/mQ92WjKv

It seems i have the exact same problem as this one, but there is no solution here (i tried removing the lock file too, and the var/osgi-cache folder as mentionned in this thread): https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/237041/unable-to-start-crucible-after-deleting-the-lock-file

Any idea?

Some permission problem on the data folder? Maybe you tried to start it with the wrong user.

[com.atlassian.fisheye.pipeline.DefaultChangeSetPipeline]: Constructor threw exception; nested exception is com.cenqua.fisheye.rep.DbException: com.persistit.exception.PersistitIOException: java.io.FileNotFoundException: /var/atlassian/application-data/fisheye/cache/pipeline/pipeline (Permission non accordée)
