Hello,

I'am new with fisheye.

I've installed the lastes release (2.6.3), under the linux OS fedora 15.

Under root Id (folder: /usr/share/fecru-2.6.3), I've launched fisheye with # bin/run.sh)

Immediatly I've the error message : "Unable to set localhost. This prevents creation of a GUID. Cause was ...."

Some functionalities don't work after that, as the dashboard...

thant'ks for your support..I'am preparing a demo for colleagues :-)

The error is similar to the error discussed in this KB. Adding the computer name in the hosts file of either Unix or Windows Platform, will fix the error thrown

It's a good idea to write a question...it can help to search & find new solutions.

here is the answer :

the /etc/hosts was incomplete : the name of the computer (as "name.company.net") was not mentioned
