Detailed report generation (Microsoft excel form) of the reviews done through Crucible(Fisheye)

l December 20, 2015

Hi There,

Requirement: Detailed report generation (Microsoft excel form) of the reviews done through Crucible(Fisheye). A detailed review report is needed in form of Microsoft excel. This report will be used by the quality team in OSS to generate KPIs & review quality standards of the teams so that appropriate actions can be taken.

Our requirement for the Crucible report –

  1. All the parameters in crucible review are exportable to excel. For example – Title, Project, reviewers, comments, status, Objective, Summary, duration etc
  2. A single report generated for all the listed projects

Please let us know whether this requirement is possible with "Flyover Reports for Crucible" plugin

Our current crucible version - 3.9.0

The Flyover Reports for Crucible spreadsheet (.csv) format export is focussed on review coverage.

  • It includes details about all reviews on a single branch, including breakdown by file change. The output can be very large because it includes a line per file change, and there can be many in each review.
  • It does not include the text fields such as title, comments, objective, summary, etc.

As such I believe it would be an awkward format for assessing the quality of reviews included in your system.

A report which included text fields would need to have fewer lines, possibly one per review, and perhaps need a more flexible method for deciding what is included.
