We use Confluence and Lithium for product communications to our customers. Our customers do not have access to Confluence. Right now we create a page in Confluence, and use that page for stakeholder approvals, writer collaboration, and drafting the final version. Once the version is final, we copy that information, and paste it into a Lithium article. We like that Lithium will send a templated email to customers, and that customers can set up the limits of how often they are contacted, so we don't have to worry about those preferences.
Has anyone solved for some kind of publish command?
The ideal scenario would be:
We create a page in Confluence Cloud, and use that page for stakeholder approvals, writer collaboration, and drafting the final version. Once the version is final, we click a "Publish to Lithium" button, that will create the article in the correct subspace of Lithium.
Hi!
If you need as soon as possible integration, please, have a look this one
https://tray.io/connectors/atlassian-confluence-lithium-integrations
Also, I suggest write own script for uploading to lithium:
1. Lithium has rest api.
https://lithosphere.lithium.com/t5/Tech-Blog/Community-REST-API-v2-The-Next-Step-Forward/ba-p/178567
2. Confluence, also.
3. You can reuse existing code from here or python module from pypi https://github.com/atlassian-api/atlassian-python-api
4. Then time to time on sync docs using service account and restrictions.
Hope it helps.
Cheers,
