ANNOUNCING: DevOps solution early access program

Hello DevOps enthusiasts!

We’re building the future of our DevOps offering and we’d like to invite you to join an early access program for our DevOps solution!

The solution includes everything you and your team need to start building and operating software, including agile planning & issue tracking, code & CI/CD, alerting & incident response and automation.

Our vision for this solution is for Jira to be the source of truth for your DevOps tools, making a diverse toolchain feel like an all-in-one. Bear in mind that early access means that this solution is a work in progress, so we need your help to shape its future.

What’s involved in this?

After you sign up and we determine your eligibility, you'll be granted access to an early release of our DevOps solution which includes Jira Software, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Opsgenie. Our solutions team will also invite you to join a private online Community group where you can report bugs, ask questions, and suggest ideas. We may also interview you on how you're using the solution.

Who are we looking for?

  • Teams responsible for building, shipping, or operating software

  • Teams that identify as DevOps (optional)
  • Teams already using Atlassian tools as part of their software development life cycle (optional)

How long am I needed?

The Early Access Program is ongoing until the general availability release of our DevOps solution, meaning that there is no specified end date. At the general availability release of our DevOps solution, you can still continue using your instance of the DevOps solution.

Will participating in the Early Access Program affect my existing Atlassian bill?

No, the project is free for both new and existing customers. At this time, existing customers can only create a new Jira site on which to try the DevOps project.

How do I sign up?

Please visit https://www.atlassian.com/solutions/devops/early-access to register and we will be in touch with an email soon if you’re accepted into the early access program.

Thanks - I’m looking forward to shaping the future of Atlassian products with you!

  1. Is this specific to Cloud or can self hosted sign up?

Hi there @scott_boisvert ,

It's specific to cloud unfortunately!

Hi @scott_boisvert , @Mohammad Ali

If it's more relevant for you and interested in DevOps features for self-hosted deployments, you are welcome to check out a new solution for DevOps automation tailored for Data Center (and Server users). It's been released by our team and would love to hear your (and other DevOps practitioners') feedback!

Can you provide more detail about what this solution provides? We already use the full Atlassian stack (Jira Software, Confluence, Bitbucket, OpsGenie), including CICD/pipelines and automation. What would this new solution give us that we don't already have?

Fair question @Esther Strom And love to hear that you're using the full stack.

This solution as of right is comprised of the full Atlassian stack auto-integrated together with additional onboarding features/content to get teams up and running quickly.

We're actively building out new features on top of this and would love your feedback on what you might want to see on top of the Atlassian stack (or in our case, the solution!).

Let me know if you're open to sitting down for a quick chat with our product team so we can hear your feedback.

Im planning to move my product team to Atlassian full stack.

This might be a "change opportunity", considering my product fase (MVP concluded).

Hope to be elegible :)
