Apologies if this is the wrong thread, but has there been any progress on making the Jira macros on a Confluence page not be so resource intensive when bringing in data? For instance, on a Data Center license, if a Jira macro is bringing in 300+ issues, the page takes a WHILE to load. It seems like even though one can specify which columns to include from the query, the entire issue is loaded in the background. On a large project, sometimes it's impossible to get away from bringing in 1000+ issues for tracking epics and stories for trending and backlog analysis (which requires multiple Jira macros since they cap at 1000). I'm saying at present, I have pages using 2-4 GB of browser cache to create a table that should be around 300 KB, and IT IS CHUNKY
Thanks for the tips. Having the project pages in Jira is extremely useful to the team.
The release notes are an improvement, but is the only way to change the order of the columns once the release notes are in Confluence to delete the columns from the display options and re-add them? I couldn't find any other way to move the columns, and this is cumbersome. Otherwise, it's a great feature.
I was genuinely excited when Atlassian introduced the ability to generate release notes directly from Jira. Unfortunately, most of the teams I collaborate with haven't adopted the practice of tracking release versions yet, so I haven't had the opportunity to witness this feature in action.

The union of Jira and confluence used well is spectacular, I always combine both applications for many advantages: documentation, reports, dynamics, etc. Separated they work very well, but by mixing them you can obtain powerful functions that benefit projects and teams thanks to their bidirectionality
