Jira Core/Software Server to Jira data center

We want to move to data center. 

We have Jira Core and Jira Software on one server. Since Jira Core is not supported in data center. What do we have to do?

Did we just need to swap the license? Or is it necessary to do a new installation for Jira data center?

Hi @Matthias Freitag , 

unfortunately if you are migrating to Jira Data Center, you will not be able to keep Jira Core. You will have to move the Jira Core users to a Jira Software license.

There is no need however to do a new installation, the move from Server to Data Center is done simply by changing the license key.

where can I see which user are on Core and which are on Software?

You can go to the admin page and then Applications, here you'll see all your Jira apps and the user attached to the licenses.
