How many nodes can I add to Jira Data Center ?

Hello Everyone,

I have question regarding the Jira Data Center Architecture. I want to know how many maximum nodes can we add to Jira Data center Architecture. Is there any limitation from atlassian side that we can only add x number of node only? Has anyone implemented or added large number nodes to the DC ?

Hi Samir,

There is no hard limit on the number of nodes in a Data Center environment, however at some point the shared file system and share database become the bottlenecks, so you end up in a worse situation than with fewer nodes. As I checked in Atlassian Documentation It can be used up to 5 Nodes.
