Migration to clustered Jira DC deployed on kubernetes or Openshift/OCP

Hello,

We are planning to migrate from Jira (single node data center) deployed on containerized environment using docker compose to clustered Jira data center (2 nodes) deployed on kubernetes or Openshift/OCP

I have some question regarding that migration:

- What are the main steps for that migration?

- What are the hardware requirements?

- What is the expected time frame?

Hi @Dina ElMowafy While there's no migration guide you can still find the following page helpful: https://atlassian.github.io/data-center-helm-charts/userguide/MIGRATION/

As to the hardware requirements, I'd suggest you try to duplicate what you already have for your DC Jira now, i.e. your memory and cpu requests/limits match sizes of the virtual machines that you use to run Jira.

Speaking of the time required for migration, it depends on your choice of migration tools for database and shared-home, as well as the size of your Jira DC.
