Feature Demo: Improved Email Filters in Jira Service Management

Hey there, Data Center Community! We know that demo videos help bring product value to life which is why we are excited to share a brand new demo highlighting a highly requested feature in Jira Service Management— improved email filtering.

Learn how improved email filtering helps keep your agents focused on delivering exceptional service experiences. With improved email filtering, allowlists and blocklists ensure agents are receiving the emails they need, block the ones they don’t, and gain back valuable time agents would’ve spent digging through their inboxes searching for missing requests. This allows them to focus time and energy on the most important work- delivering excellent service.

This new feature is one of many benefits you can find in Jira Service Management versions 5.5 and above. If you’d like to find out even more about this feature, check out the release notes for guided documentation on how to enable this feature.

Thanks for being part of our community, stay tuned to this space for more demos coming for other products!

Hey is there a way to not get 6 emails for 1 post?

Hi @jammsen I'm so sorry you're dealing with that! You can adjust your notifications under manage settings>notifications. Under those various tabs, there might be content you are watching or search alerts you have enabled that may be causing an issue. From there you can also enable/ disable what notifications you'd like to receive. If that still doesn't fix the issue, you can always reach out to the Atlassian support desk

It is very good extra on newer JSM version. Maybe in future there will be some global spam email list what will update periodically?
