Hi there, Data Center community! I'm back today with the newest edition of our Data Center Digest, offering a quick overview of recent and soon-to-be-shipped highlights for our Data Center products! Platform releases

Platform releases allow us to incorporate multiple significant changes (often called “breaking changes”) that are not compatible with previous versions. These changes establish a strong foundation for more extensive development in future releases.

We recently announced every Data Center product is getting a new platform release! This means we will be releasing:

Long Term Support (LTS) releases

As many of you know, upgrading to an LTS release provides you with all the new features shipped since the last LTS, as well as continued access to critical security, stability, data integrity, and performance fixes for the two-year support window. We encourage you to upgrade to the LTS when it becomes available to stay secure and protect yourself from vulnerabilities. Read on to discover our recently shipped and coming soon LTS releases.

SHIPPED Bamboo Data Center 9.6 LTS is now available. Find exciting new features such as user session invalidation and application tunnels to enhance security, ephemeral Kubernetes agents for improved performance and scalability, and more. If you haven’t already, download the LTS here.

SHIPPED Bitbucket Data Center 8.19 LTS is now available! Look forward to features to help your teams improve productivity and sustainable scalability such as mark files “unread” in a pull request, templates for pull request commit messages, and dark theme! Jira Software	Introducing SBOM: We're continuing our commitment to providing our customers with the most secure products by introducing the Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) to Jira Software Data Center. Learn more. Configuration Page Updates: Admins can choose to show or hide fields from screens, make fields required or optional, and use renderers to change the formatting of text field values. Learn more.	Dark theme in Jira - Beta: Choose between Dark theme or Light theme. Removal of critical severity accessibility defects: Ease of use for low-vision, keyboard-only, and assistive technology users (including screen readers) has improved.
Jira Service Management	Archiving for Assets: Safely archive asset objects to effectively manage scale, increase instance performance, and improve searchability without losing important information. Learn more. Mention customers from the issue view: Agents can now mention any customer directly from the issue view without switching to the customer portal view. Learn more.	Dark theme in Jira - Beta: Choose between Dark theme or Light theme. Removal of critical severity accessibility defects: Ease of use for low-vision, keyboard-only, and assistive technology users (including screen readers) has improved.
Confluence	Quick sharing of links to comments: Sharing comment links has never been easier. The link location is now more visible, with just one click required to copy to your clipboard. Learn more. Refreshed editor color palettes: To improve accessibility contrast and ensure Dark theme compatibility, we’ve updated the text color and table cell background color palettes in the editor. Learn more.	Dark theme in Confluence: Choose between light or dark theme as your preferred interface to help you better focus on your screen, reduce eye strain, and improve contrast for better accessibility. OpenSearch: Experience quicker search results and improved instance performance at scale with externalised index-management DRAFT
Bitbucket	Draft pull requests: Simplify teamwork by drafting pull requests before the code is ready for review. Learn more. Code owners: Add a code owners file to your repository to designate code reviewers. This file defines ownership of specific paths/patterns in the code base. Learn more.	Secure Administrator Sessions (websudo): Strengthen security with Secure Administrator Sessions (websudo), which requires administrators to re-authenticate before performing sensitive operations or accessing the Global Administration settings page. Multi-line comments: Add comments, tasks, and code suggestions to specific line ranges.
Bamboo	Bamboo 9.6 is now available! Check out the great new features now available in the LTS.	Secure administrator sessions (websudo): Protect sensitive actions by requiring a secure administration session (websudo) in order to use administration screens. Modify build number: Modify your Bamboo build number to another number to preserve continuity of build numbers when migrating from other continuous integration systems.

Thank you for the update . We would love to see some more big features in JIRA and Confluence DC - more UI changes and features similar to Cloud - not everyone wants to move to Cloud :) .
