updatedDate field

updatedDate field says:

"Returns the date the entity was last updated."

what does it mean for the entity to be updated?

if I login to JIRA with a CROWD DIRECTORY user that means the user was updated?

what I'm trying to do is find out when a CROWD DIRECTORY user made the last activity (login, etc) in any of the products (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo).

Is it possible to do this without having to check the internal directory of all the applications?
Just with the CROWD REST API.
