Hi,
I am new to JIRA, Confluence an d Crowd and maybe this question has already beed answered.
I have to add Crowd to our environment for webbased SSO - no AD or LDAP. Database is a SQL2012 Standard Edition.
The setup for JIRA and Confluence was based on the installer which also provides a JRE. But Crowd needs a JDK. As these three applications has to run on a single server I am wondering how to configure this. Are there any best practices, tips,... someone could provide?
Thx for any help on this issue.....
Hi @DWedekind
Since all three applications run on the same server, I suggest that you actually install a JDK 8 on that server and that all three applications use that same JDK instead of the embedded JREs:
