Crowd does not boot up.

Chris September 21, 2017

Went over the license limit for Crowd. After removing users from Active Directory, Crowd server was restarted and this happened:

HTTP Status 404 - /crowd/

type Status report

message /crowd/

description The requested resource is not available.

Apache Tomcat/7.0.69

@vivuu From the looks of this other thread, you were eventually able to start Crowd in the test environment:

Crowd Test environment Setup

If not, please let me know, I am happy to help.

Hi Christian,

A similar issue was reported by someone with the same email domain as you: http://localhost:8095/crowd/console/ 404 error

I have asked him to check the file system permissions on the Crowd home directory.

If you are both reporting different issues, or would prefer me to answer on this thread, please let me know, otherwise, I will keep replying to @Bryan Spaulding.

Thanks,

Ann

We follwed the below steps and getting error.

1)Installed fresh instance of crowd in test environment.
2) Copied the Crowd home directory to the Test Environment
3) restord the Prod DB in Test SQlDB
3) Edited the crowd.config .xml to point the test DB
4) Restarted the Crowd service.
But we are getting below error

"HTTP Status 404 - /crowd

type Status report

message /crowd

description The requested resource is not available.

Apache Tomcat/7.0.69"
