Create delegate authentification directory license problem

Hi,
We have a 500 users license for Crowd. We want to connect it to our AD to manage users. However, we have around 700 persons on AD.
If we create a delegate authentification directory, will all users be with a license crowd ? Or have we the possibility to add only users we want on crowd?
