When I'm try to adjust configuration of an existing delegated directory. Crowd is showing me following error message:

I'm not sure if you have passed through this error already, but have you checked the Base DN and the LDAP directory URL? usually those are wrong in the configuration and can cause this error.

Delegated Active Directory configuration was correct, because it was actively used and was working all the time, but any change to LDAP parameters was rejected.
Finally I was working around this, by creating a new directory with adjusted LDAP configuration and import all the user data from original one.
This is kinda outdated for me.So no need to follow up here.
