I would like to set up 802.1x network authentication at my company, and ideally I would use Crowd for the 'authentication server' - does Crowd support 802.1x authentication?
thanks
Crowd does not currently support 802.1x authentication. It's focused on application authentication rather than network authentication.
It doesn't look like there's an open feature request to support it (or at least, I couldn't find it quickly!), so if this is important to you, please create an issue of type New Feature in the Crowd project , set the issue summary to something like "Support 802.1x authentication", provide a description of how you think it should work as well as your use case, and add a link to it from your question here so others can find and vote on the issue if they end up on this page.
