restore deleted user

Hi,

unfortunately we deleted a user from confluence and jira instead of deactivating him. Now all of his work is attached to "former user" (of course). Is it somehow possible to recreate the account and get a real name for his contributions again?

You may want to get in touch with Atlassian Support - have them restore the content and user from the backup they take and maintain.
