reactivate a user

This user is deactivated, but I do not manage the account.  How in the world do I reactivate them?

Hi @Ken Burk ðŸ‘‹

Welcome to the Community! If you're looking to reactivate a user then the best step would be to contact the administrator that manages your Confluence Instances as they will have the admin rights to do this.

To help, you can show them the steps they need to take to reactivate the user in question. However without the appropriate permissions you won't be able to do this yourself.

To reactivate an account:

  1. Go to admin.atlassian.com. Select your organization if you have more than one.

  2. Select Directory > Managed accounts.

  3. Select the user you want to reactivate.

  4. From the user’s account page, click Reactivate account.

To reactivate multiple accounts:

  1. Go to admin.atlassian.com. Select your organization if you have more than one.

  2. Select Directory > Managed accounts.

  3. From the checkboxes, select the user accounts you want to reactivate.

  4. When buttons appear on top of the list of managed accounts, select Reactivate.

I am an org admin but I am not seeing an option to reactivate user after I follow the mentioned steps
