@Majed Quadri Welcome to the Atlassian Community.

I have not used the 3rd-party app you are using to integrate with Salesforce, but the wording of the error message makes it seem like the issue is happening on the Salesforce side.

You might want to refer to the documentation for the app to see if they have a troubleshooting section related to this error or maybe contact their support team. You should be able to access both the documentation and support from the app's page in the Atlassian Marketplace.

Hi @Majed Quadri

Have you exported a file before, or this is the first time you are trying to export?

You may have to check the mappings in the backend one more time to ensure the integration is all good.

Hope this helps - Happy to help further!!
Thank you very much and have a great one!
Warm regards

@Humashankar VJ  This is not first time I have exported lot of articles from Confluence to Salesforce by clicking on this "Export to Salesforce" button but this is showing an error only for few articles.
do i still need to check filed mapping? if yes then how can I check that in Salesforce or or connfluence?

@Majed Quadri

Check in Confluence with the below,

Start by accessing the configuration settings (available to admin users).

Review the field mappings between Confluence fields and Salesforce objects, paying close attention to potential issues such as, fields in Salesforce that are missing or not properly configured, despite being referenced in the mapping, data type mismatches, such as attempting to map text fields to numeric fields, and optional fields in Salesforce being incorrectly marked as required

Then check with the Salesforce with the below,

In Salesforce account, navigate to the object where you're exporting data (such as Knowledge Articles or Custom Objects). Access the object's settings by going to Setup > Object Manager and selecting the object.

Then, review the field details to confirm that:

  • All required fields are properly configured
  • There are no validation rules, formula fields, or triggers that could block the import
  • The field API names match the references in the Confluence export setting.

Best Regards
