page layout doesn't show single column configuration

I try to configure my page with the layout tool, but the buttons do not appear. Also, column options do not show a single column. What can I do to see that?

Hi @Bob van Eeden and welcome to Community!
The second screenshot you attached shows the old editor. With the new Confluence editor, you don't need sections to add a single column layout, it's the standard one:
As you can see in the screenshot, you can also use the layout with 1 small column + 1 large centered column + 1 small column as a single column layout to center content.
